Vaccination and Immunisation

Protection of your pet and our other guests is of utmost importance to us
All dogs boarding at The Dog Hotel must have a current C5 vaccination. A valid Titer test is an acceptable alternative in conjunction with a kennel cough vaccination
C5 immunisation includes Bordetella Bronchiseptia which is the bacterial component of kennel cough. C3 & C4 is not enough as it does not cover this important immunisation.
Vaccinations must be administered at least 10 days prior to arrival and be valid for a minimum of 14 days after departure.
The certificate of Vaccination will need to be produced upon check-in without which The Dog Hotel would be unable to accept a pet into our care. We prefer to have a copy sent to us at the time of booking to ensure it is current and not forgotten when checking -in.

The Dog Hotel recommends all dogs be treated for fleas and ticks with either of Frontline, Revolution or Advantage in the week prior to arrival to ensure adequate protection prior,during and after their stay. To ensure the health of all of our guests The Dog Hotel will provide and administer a flea/tick treatment if deemed as required during their stay. This would be at the owners cost.

Feeding

High Quality food is an important part of your pets health. We utilise premium food suppliers such as Prime 100 and Black Hawk as the core part of any guests diet. We feed our guests the same food we feed our own pets.
The Dog Hotel food menu varies on a day to day basis to ensure your pet is not bored of the same meal day after day. We also add treats such as baked Snack bones, carrots and an occasional Schmako or Greenie just to add variety. The Dog Hotel will accommodate any special diets required if you wish to supply your preferred products however from experience our combination of quality meat and premium biscuits has not been refused by any guest yet.
